intvgene #1 Posted January 15, 2005 I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to put an Atari ST SC1224 monitor in a cabinet. The vertical hold won't stay, and the game periodically starts to roll. I did a search on the newsgroups, but the links that they pointed to were long expired. Any help would be appreciated.
+Mitch #2 Posted January 15, 2005 Which model SC1224 are you using, there are three of them? Mitch
intvgene #3 Posted January 15, 2005 Sorry.. it's a Goldstar.
+Mitch #4 Posted January 15, 2005 The Goldstar requires seperate H and V sync, unless the board you have provides that you will have problems. You should be able to use an LM1881 chip to split the sync though. Mitch
intvgene #5 Posted January 15, 2005 Yea, it does have the separate sync. My board does not. Do you know where I could get one of those Lm 1881 chips? Thanks for the help.
+Mitch #6 Posted January 16, 2005 Probably you can request a sample of the LM1881N. http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM1881.html Mitch
+Mitch #7 Posted January 16, 2005 Here's an example circuit that might help as well. http://www.gamesx.com/grafx/psx2sc1224.jpg Mitch
