Sega Ages #1 Posted January 19, 2005 I was obsessed with this game on the Commodore 64 http://www.c64unlimited.net/games/z/zoids/...oids_ingame.gif My friend had it, but didn't know how to play it. I kept bugging him to let me play it, and then just as I was starting to figure out the gameplay mechanics he erased the tape. It was really immersive and had good music. I had no idea the game had anything to do with licensed robot monsters until decades later Now I found an interesting guide to the game online and want to play it again. Am I the only one interested in this obscure game?
Mayhem #2 Posted January 19, 2005 It's one of those games that takes a lot of practice to be anywhere near decent at it. Definitely for the thinkers out there. Also has one of Rob Hubbard's great tunes to go with it...
Cootster #3 Posted January 19, 2005 Does this game have any connection to the very similar TV series that runs on Cartoon Network (I think that's the right station)? Never knew Zoids had been around that long . . .
Dr. Van Thorp #4 Posted January 22, 2005 Zoids has been around for many years, and has been distributed outside Japan by several different toy companies (in Japan it's a Tomy toy line). It seems to have only really caught on recently under Hasbro.
