Opinion about Mario (N fans please read)

Its sort of a dual question thing here, but It needs to be asked.

 

#1 What is the best Mario sprite from the original NES out of the following:

 

Donkey Kong

Mario Bros.

SMB 1

SMB 2

SMB 3

 

#2 Who is the best "italian man in a hat and moustache"

 

Mario

Luigi

Wario

Waluigi.

 

 

Here are my personal arguments for the following questions,

 

1, I prefer the Mario bros sprite, although most specifically how they

were used in the Ram extender for the Famicom. Those are my

favourites

 

 

2, Wario all the way. Waluigi is a disgrace, Mario is a second. Luigi

I'm neutral towards, although I prefer "old school" luigi to the modern

one.

I always loved the classic Blue and Red look of Mario from Mario Bros. I could never stand the way he looks in SMB. My friend used to actually mess with the settings on his TV back in the day (87-89) to make mario blue and red in SMB, it make everything else look like shit

Luigi is the most badass. Waluigi is pretty sweet if only because you can make him dance in mario tennis when he's serving the ball, and because you know if he ever got his own game, it'd totally be GTA style.

#1-I've always loved how Mario looks in SMB 1. It's simple, but gets the job done. Plus IMO it just looks cool.

 

#2- Mario.

the SMB 2 sprite is my favorite, its the most cartoonish of the bunch, and the animations are outstanding for 8-bit

 

wario is my favorite character of the mario universe. he isnt pure evil and terror, hes just greedy like the rest of us, and bitter like a lot of us. his voice in games also isnt super obnoxious and he needs no super powers to rock in his games.

 

waluigi is pathetic to the same degree that wario was clever.

 

mario and luigi are fairly equal, and fairly ordinary at this point in the game

 

 

 

somewhat on the subject of SMB sprites, anyone notice that the pitfall harry sprite in super pitfall is a direct ripoff of Mario's SMB sprite. The only thing to change was his hat. even the crouching animation is the same.

or

But just think of Mario dressed with a do rag, dark sungalsses, a white tank top, and baggy pants. Along with a gold tooth, a massive gold chain, rings on every finger. And to top it off, grabbing his crotch and flashing a gang sign. And Nintendo can get Snoop Dogg to do voice for Mario. Can you just imagine Mario saying something like " Yo G, Fashizzle My Nizzle!"

 

Nintendo can make it for the GBA and call it Super Ghetto Bros. Advance.

I even only listed specific games, there were many other games that

Mario was featured in that I could have included.

Well if i have to go with a nes game ill go witrh 2 i loved the whole style that game used.
