NES Classic GBA series - Bomberman

I have been playing this for the past few days...totally addicted...up to level 44 and about 3.9 million points...how far does this game go as far as level and score limits?

 

I missed this game back in the day...it's a lot of fun! Kinda nice to find new old games you enjoy...lol.

I don't know about the NES version... I just checked the NES manual and there is nothing in there, but the TG16 version has 100 levels and then they restart - at a higher level of difficulty.

 

If you like the NES version, you'll probably really like the TG16, SNES and Saturn versions... they are much more smooth and "polished". - plus the multiplayer is some of the best around.

the original doesnt even have a multiplayer mode. though i checked vgmuseum and there is an ending to the game

Yeah, what the heck Bomberman 2.. (I've never ever seen Bomberman 2 for the NES, but I know it is out there..)

 

Was a "traditional" Bomberman ever released for the Playstation?

I've owned the NES version since childhood, and if this is a faithful port, there will be 50 levels. After you complete level 50 in the NES version, you are given a quick one screen ending.
