The next question would be any one know of any where in Michigan that sells older Arcade machines for a decent price? I would be willing to travel to pick it up and it would need to be in working conditon. I think this would be a great addition to my game collection and besides that i love playing the neo geo games.

I sold mine to Stingray for $200, and sold him 2 fighting games for $20. I don't know if that reflects actual market value or not. My guess is that's slightly lower than what you might see in other parts of the country.

Thanks for the reply. I have a couple places in mind that im going to try and get in touch with the owner because I remember seeing Neo Geo machines stuck in the corner, hopefully they will be willing to part with them.

You might be able to get a 1-slot for a little over $200 but generally, that is a low price. I'd expect to pay closer to $400 for a dedicated cabinet. You could also post on the www.neo-geo.com message boards in their marketplace forum. I've dealt with some good people there but some can be uptight.

I'd personally look for a six-button JAMMA and then buy a JAMMA MVS one-slot adaptor. That would be the cheapest way of doing things (JAMMA cabs are generally a little less than MVS), and it would give you the most flexibility (allowing you to play JAMMA PCBs too).

I couldn't give you an idea of the price in the US but eBay will always be more expensive than independent traders.
