AcidTone #1 Posted January 26, 2005 Im looking to buy a dual slot Neo Geo cabinet. Can any one give me an idea of about how much they usually go for, and is there any one in Michigan looking to sell one
AcidTone #2 Posted January 26, 2005 The next question would be any one know of any where in Michigan that sells older Arcade machines for a decent price? I would be willing to travel to pick it up and it would need to be in working conditon. I think this would be a great addition to my game collection and besides that i love playing the neo geo games. Flack #3 Posted January 26, 2005 Im looking to buy a dual slot Neo Geo cabinet. Can any one give me an idea of about how much they usually go for, and is there any one in Michigan looking to sell one I sold mine to Stingray for $200, and sold him 2 fighting games for $20. I don't know if that reflects actual market value or not. My guess is that's slightly lower than what you might see in other parts of the country. AcidTone #4 Posted January 26, 2005 Thanks for the reply. I have a couple places in mind that im going to try and get in touch with the owner because I remember seeing Neo Geo machines stuck in the corner, hopefully they will be willing to part with them. AcidTone #5 Posted January 26, 2005 I hate to spam but i thought of another question. Where is a good place to look for games besides ebay?
benjam138 #6 Posted January 26, 2005 You could try this site: http://detroit.craigslist.org/ I found a Pinball machine there. Well, on the Miami section. Also, try local papers (some may have websites) or anything with classified ads (like any type of free paper, etc.)

MattG/Snyper2099 #9 Posted January 26, 2005 You might be able to get a 1-slot for a little over $200 but generally, that is a low price. I'd expect to pay closer to $400 for a dedicated cabinet. You could also post on the www.neo-geo.com message boards in their marketplace forum. I've dealt with some good people there but some can be uptight. Atarinvader #10 Posted January 26, 2005 I'd personally look for a six-button JAMMA and then buy a JAMMA MVS one-slot adaptor. That would be the cheapest way of doing things (JAMMA cabs are generally a little less than MVS), and it would give you the most flexibility (allowing you to play JAMMA PCBs too). I couldn't give you an idea of the price in the US but eBay will always be more expensive than independent traders.
