DC Half life controller probs

Ive downloaded Half-life again for the dc. The copy i got seems to be Retail ready which is great as the previous version i had was a bit choppy. The file is half life gold, my problem here is that the mouse movement is way to quick and there doesnt seem to be a way to slow it down. You can change the x-y sensitivity, but this only works for the pad. So does anyone know of a hack for the mouse? or has anyone else noticed there seems to be 2 different releases floating around on the net?
