sandmountainslim #1 Posted February 8, 2005 Well I ordered Seawolf today after reading Stan Jr's review of it, I am really looking forward to recieving this cart cuz if its half as good as I hear it is it has to be one awesome game. One question I have though is does the 2600 version have the "Sonar" sounds the old coin op game had? This will be the second homebrew I have owned with Climber 5 being the first so I hope I dont have my hopes up too high on this game. SMS

miker #4 Posted February 8, 2005 Just say that you agree, or download Windows Commander, which has support for most archive types - you can found it there: www.ghisler.com
Nukey Shay #5 Posted February 8, 2005 Yup...WinZip is "nagware". You can use it as often as you want without paying (the only difference is that you won't get that annoying message every time if it's registered). Of course, you could just search for a code...like 64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:GedB8w7jqnwJ:www.seriall.com/%3Fl%3Dw!and!p%3D12+winzip+%22registration+code%22&hl=en

Zach #7 Posted February 9, 2005 (edited) I've been using FilZip for years. It's free, and I haven't had any problems with it. (individual results may vary) Edited April 25, 2008 by Zach
ls650 #8 Posted April 25, 2008 Crapola! I just tried out Seawolf for the first time. Wow! That is a really great looking shooter - I think it's definitely worth the bucks to buy from the store. Question - I was playing it with Stella 2.2 and although it was quite playable, there was a kind of weird rolling black flicker to the display. Is this just my Stella install, or does it do this on other PCs..?
cosmosiss #9 Posted April 25, 2008 (edited) But the one in the link is just the BIN. Plus WinRAR is far superior to Winzip anyways 7zip is my second favorite, and it's free. Back on the subject. I forgot I got Seawolf during the holiday sale. I'm gonna have to play it some this weekend. -wait, no I didn't!! tremoloman2006 #10 Posted April 26, 2008 Plus WinRAR is far superior to Winzip anyways 7zip is my second favorite, and it's free. Same exact setup as me! WinRAR and 7-Zip rock! I even paid for my copy of WinRAR... program kicks butt.

If you're using one of the later versions of Stella, you don't need to unzip a ROM; you can open it directly from within Stella.
Nukey Shay #12 Posted April 27, 2008 No, he meant the emulator itself. BTW this was posted 3 years ago. I imagine that he's gotten an emu running since then

Nukey Shay #15 Posted April 27, 2008 So no one else experiences this..? I'm using the same version w/Win98. I don't see anything unusual. It looks the same as it does in Z26.
