SteveW #2 Posted February 10, 2005 What an odd version of Pac-Man. It looks like it was programmed in BASIC on a VIC-20.
doubledown #3 Posted February 10, 2005 At first I was thinking what a boring game, but get past a few boards and the "Ghost" gets a little smarter and a whole lot faster. Not bad.
joeybastard #4 Posted February 10, 2005 I think this may be the only version to be worse than the VCS.
Stingray #6 Posted February 10, 2005 I think this may be the only version to be worse than the VCS. My thought exactly. -S
Gregory DG #7 Posted February 10, 2005 Is this an exercise to make the lowest resolution Pac-Man possible? At least the sounds are correct.
Lost Monkey #8 Posted February 10, 2005 Is this an exercise to make the lowest resolution Pac-Man possible? At least the sounds are correct. Hit "escape" on your keyboard...

Bryan #14 Posted February 11, 2005 Actually, I think it held my attention longer than the 2600 version. The ghost doesn't get any smarter, just faster. -Bry
Flack #15 Posted February 11, 2005 521 so far, but I just kind of died because I got tired of running the pattern over and over.
Flack #16 Posted February 11, 2005 762. The biggest problem is with key-recognition times when it starts speeding up.
Zonie #17 Posted February 11, 2005 Ummm...Its actually better than the VCS.

keilbaca #19 Posted February 11, 2005 I ditto the VCS comment. The VCS pac-man is a good game, just given the wrong name.

Video #23 Posted February 14, 2005 Wow, that's cool. I think the thing is, anybody remember the "smallest Pong game ever"? You know, the one that was something like 10 x 10 pixels or somethign? I think this is like that, only it didn't show pixel per pixel like it was supposed to. Pretty cool.
PacManPlus #24 Posted February 14, 2005 ok - I've played this too much :-P
Room 34 #25 Posted February 14, 2005 I think this is like that, only it didn't show pixel per pixel like it was supposed to. It's supposed to have been loaded from within a web page. If you call a Shockwave or Flash file within a web page, you can specify the size. It is supposed to be incredibly tiny. (I remember seeing this once before.) If you call the same file directly with a URL, instead of a page containing it, it will scale to fill your browser window... hence the experience most of us are having here.
