ulij20 #1 Posted February 10, 2005 Anyone remember this late-80s arcade game? IIRC, you used crosshair targets to shoot everyone inside the buildings that made up each level. I always used to have fun with this game. There were several levels where an elderly man is playing piano. If you shot the cover, it would slam down on his hands and you'd hear him grunt. Then, if someone was cooking an egg, if you shot the pan, the egg would flip over. If you shot the phone, it would start ringing over and over again. I loved the way it rang really quickly - something about that never failed to make me laugh. Then, of course, on boards where there was fire involved (a burning stove left unattended or a pumpkin), you'd shoot the source of the fire and then the whole room would go up in flames. There were other weird things in this game, but I always loved playing it. It was a lot of fun.
crc_73 #2 Posted February 10, 2005 It's fun to shoot at the tenants just to see how they react. Super fun. There were a few games around that era that had the same type of 'clean', cartoony type graphics, with loads of detail - Xenophobe and Rampage instantly spring to mind - both excellently ported to the Lynx.
