Bill Lange #1 Posted February 12, 2005 I found this site the other night on "Classic BASIC Programs". Brings back the days of typing games in from Compute!, Antic and Analog. http://www.moorecad.com/classicbasic/ Bill
Sky Runner #2 Posted February 13, 2005 Talking of BASIC games, there was a cassette that was released in Europe called CASSETTE 50 from Cascade Games around 1983-85. Needless to say it was a cassette that had 50 games written in BASIC. At one time there was also a promotional offer of a calculator watch given with the tape. There was also a version called CASSETTE 4, which had 4 more higher quality games on it. Does anybody havea copy of this, or know where to find it .... there was a version of this for most formats available back then also, ie :: ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, C64 etc. I have a bit of a personal attachment to this collection as I had contributed a few games to the Atari version and would love to get my hands on it again. Any suggestions ?
deathtrappomegranate #3 Posted February 13, 2005 I have a copy of Cassette 50 around somewhere. I was planning to add a .cas image to the database at atarimania.com at some stage. I think that the other atarimania guys may have it too. I have never tried my copy out, but, once it's been archived, I won't need it.
