PS2 & XBOX games $5 each!!

---Hey PS2 & XBOX fans can you please help me decide which of these games I should get, I do not have eighter of these systems yet and have only ever played burnout 3 on xbox, but I will be getting them sometime this year.

---Hollywood video here has these titles for $5 each starting this weekend and I have a friend that will hold which ever ones I want. My question is which of these games are your favorites and which do you think I should get??

P.S. there are several copies of about half of the games, if anyone wants any of these titles please let me know and I will try to pick some up for you if I have the money, or I will get my friend to hold some until we get the money thing worked out!! Thanks for you help!!!

Those are the ones worth owning. Pick and choose as you like.

 

Dont get Kabuki warriors though. Notoriously voted as one of the worst XBOX titles ever.

Escape from Monkey Island. It is great. Offbeat humor, pirates and Guybrush Threepwood, what could be better. For $5 get it. You may not like it, but it's worth a shot.

For 5 buckazoids each, Onimusha 1 and Clock Tower 3 are great choices. Both are adventure type games. Onimusha has lots of action. CT3 is a survival horror game in the vein of Resident Evil.

None of the games listed are system sellers or anything, but I've bought all of the above games except Otagi (and my Bounty Hunter is on the superior Cube), and I've enjoyed all of them -- at least to the $5 extent to make them worthwhile! IMHO the Xbox has a more interesting lineup if you only choose one machine, but your tastes may vary.

 

Side note: Most of these games can be had just as cheaply elsewhere. I wouldn't stock up on poor games just because they're cheap. You're more likely to enjoy a few games purchased with care at a somewhat higher price than shoveling everything cheap into your bag. (Not that I always practice what I preach, but I try to ...)

Jak & Daxter is one of my very favorite PS2 titles. Well worth the $5.
