Ebay Obelix

I've had my VCS for 27 years but am fairly new to collecting.

 

Was this auction something I should've looked at harder, or is it just the NTSC version that's scarce?

Not bad for a boxed one. The PAL version isn't too hard to come by. The NTSC version is exceptionally rare, though. I only just scored it this past week, and I think I got a hell of a deal at $80 (though it did come with Spy Hunter, Frogger II and Mario Bros -- all the same, Obelix by itself usually goes for at least that much)

I like the fact it's an R10, but I debate "exceptionally rare." Most of the R10's are carts worth hundreds of dollars and up. I got my Obelix for between $40-$50. Everybody told me it wasn't going to be NTSC, but it was.
