What was the last NES released game?

Recommended Posts

I picked up Wario Woods this weekend and the date said 1994, this has got to be close but I would like to know officially what the last released game was? Thanks.

Wario's Woods was the final liscensed game released, so you are largely correct.

After that however, there were titles not liscensed by Nintendo that were still released. I've always steered clear of the unofficial games myself, so Unfortunately I can't nail down the final final game for you..

I believe Sunday Funday was the last NES game released in the US. It was an unlicensed game from Wisdom Tree.

Technically, since you can still buy new copies of Sunday Funday and Bible Adventures, the NES never stopped...Wario's Woods was the last game produced by Nintendo.

Selling off old stock doesn't mean the system is still supported. I mean if you followed that logic the 2600 has been going strong since 1977.

Flintstones: The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak, The Incredible Crash Dummies, and the Jungle Book released in August 1994 were close to the Wario's Woods in the race for latest released NES game. Good luck finding those. :)

Flintstones: The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak,

This game was released to rental stores only. I have been looking for this game in the wild for years with no luck. I refuse to pay $100 on E-Bay.
