remember this classic handheld?

I swear there was a 70s electronic handheld game called "I Took A Lickin From A Chicken" but that's as much as I have strored in memory. Any memories?

Yes, the neighbor girls had one of those around 77 or 78? It was pre-80s for sure, right? That's gotta be near impossible to find today.

 

There's another handheld I'm trying to remember, I played the hell out of it but forgot its name. It's such a generic Galaxian clone (in 4 stages) that I don't think i could describe it sufficiently.

Damn. I really did not need to see that. I have a lot of monetary planning to do this evening. If it's all good I think I'll splurge.

 

I scored this fantastic book called Retro Hell which is an encyclopedia of 70s pop culture crap. It's a mind-boggling experience to sit and get smacked by all those memories at once. Many games are mentioned of course.

We had one of those when I was a kid...the chicken would cluck, bob around and peck his response. Wonder if it's still in my parents' attic...

My neighbor friend when I was growing up had that "I Took a Licken From A Chicken" game. He was the kid on my block whose parents would buy him everything that he wanted. The game as I remember it was lame and only held our interest for an hour or so.

 

The novelty was the chicken moved around and pecked the keypad like it was playing the game against you. One of the games was Tic-Tac-Toe but I forget the others.

Yeah, I had one of those at my school, too! He had his own junior mafia that hung out with him... I guess he paid them off with video games or something (and man, did he have a ton of them!).
