Modded NES. You decide if it looks good.

Recommended Posts

Nope... I can't say I like it.

I hate the orange... if he would have left it the original color and did the other mods it'd been cool but I think the paint or whatever it is screwed up the looks completely. Wow... and $50..... hmm hmm... :)

I wanted a Vader with Fuji cut out in the front with led shining thru, I think would be cool. That N isn't exactly straight. Looks decent, but could be better I think. I don't like the colors at all though :woozy:

The pimping looks sort of interesting.

The paint job looks like complete ass.

Looks like the Miami Sound Machine exploded all over it.

The paint job and the crooked N could have been much better using the correct tools and some nice Krylon plastic paint. It would have been much easier to use some low wattage (44s or 47s) pinball bulbs and sockets and wired the lights directly to the PS. They are designed to burn bright without eating up a lot of energy or generating a lot of heat.

I give it a 3 out of 10, 10 being the best score

seller said, "In the top a large "N" has been cut out so you can see the insides"

Is there really all that much to see inside a Nintendo? I haven't been all that impressed when I've opened mine. At least, not impressed enough to cut a giant N in the top of the console so I can always see the insides. I agree with everyone else that orange is not a flattering color. The nintendo is really more a winter and should stay away from flourescent tones.

Like a cross between a Play It Loud! version of the NES and a "Varsity Letter" version of the NES.

A blue version of it would be nice, though.
