jetset #2 Posted March 3, 2005 The good news is, now that I have an 800, and am no longer looking for a cheap deal on an XE system, this will likely sell low. Never fails. Watch.
joeybastard #3 Posted March 3, 2005 I have a nice 800 XL setup too but I just dig the way the XEGS looks so Iwant one just for the collection.

That is a huge reason why I was looking for the XE system versus an 800. Then again, I shouldn't bitch, the 800/810 setup was a freebie from atarieric (thanks again man!) and I can do more with it once I figure it out! I ended up pickup up an XE MIB with everything for $10.00 not too long ago (through Ebay, local pickup) and the seller threw in 4 Genesis games he didn't want to boot. It was the best deal I got on Ebay in at least a year!

video game addict #10 Posted March 3, 2005 Im suprised no one has mentioned this system doesnt appear to come with the XEGS's keyboard!!! I noticed. This one was also relisted. Check what happened last time it was up! http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?I...?ItemID=1183981 Top two bidders are AA members too I believe, kind of surprising to see such a high price on untested, missing pieces lot, with only a couple common games. I'd say it's worth no more than $20 in that condition. You can however play around 95% of the carts without the use of a keyboard. So it's somewhat usable in that condition. Shawn Jefferson #11 Posted March 4, 2005 So what's the deal here? Did the high bidder not pay the first time?

I stopped bothering watching Goodwill. For some reason everything goes VERY high. Either there are dumb bidders, or theres shilling going on. I've seen lots of commons carts that should cost about $10 bucks go for $25!, and bare systems beat to shit go for crazy amounts as well...
