AlexKIDD #1 Posted March 4, 2005 I have just fought "el gigante" and am back in the church and need to rotate the lights a certain way. I'm not very good with puzzles like this and i dont want to pay ign to tell me so can somebody help me out? thanks
Mayhem #2 Posted March 4, 2005 All you have to do is look at each colour and spot where each "fits" a certain region on the combined image. Just keep rotating each one until you can see that it matches. I think the first two need rotating about three times and the last one once.
BydoEmpire #3 Posted March 4, 2005 Try looking at just one color at a time. Look at the one where all the colors are together, and focus on the blue. Then rotate the blue light until it matches. Then try another color. If you're really stuck, you could always try gamefaqs (just don't spoil any surprises for yourself!).
tiggerthehun #4 Posted March 4, 2005 And then press "Combine"! Oh, and make sure your gun is loaded - you "might" need it shortly afterwords. Enjoy - you've got hours of gaming pleasure ahead of you.
Rick Weis #5 Posted March 5, 2005 hehe... if you're having problems with this one, then you'll love the puzzle that you are missing one piece and need to mix them up to make a picture. that one took me over an hour to solve! and i still don't know how i did it! Rick Haha! Damn those sliding puzzles. Fortunately, years of watching my wife playing PC adventure games helped me out here!
mynameistom22000 #7 Posted March 5, 2005 The sliding puzzle was easy..now, the one I had trouble with was the 3 or 4 turn one...I could not get that for ages, so I looked it up on GameFAQs...the lights got me for awhile too, until I actually paid more attention to the light patterns
BydoEmpire #8 Posted March 6, 2005 I didn't like the sliding puzzle, either. I just kept moving pieces around and ten minutes later I got it. I did think that for a game that has a lot of action, the puzzles in RE4 were just about right. Not too hard, not stupid and unrelated to the game, just enough to shake up the action a bit. Mayhem #9 Posted March 6, 2005 Yeah the turn 3/4 thing looked hard... but in the end quite easy. Didn't have a single problem with any RE4 puzzle (then again, I've never had a problem with any RE puzzle down the line, perhaps it's just the way my brain is wired). Slidy block puzzle also looked harder than it was. Just revolve the blocks around the edge here most of the time
