Now, I understand peeling back the labels to reveal the EPROM window, but doesn't that risk damaging the EPROM from possible exposure to UV?

That was my impression. A hearty dose of UV will wipe em' clean. Exposure to light over time will also yeild the same result. BTW, those look a lot like the protos posted in the 'prototypes' forum. Any comments from the experts?
