the duo does not attatch to the TG-16, its a stand alone system. you're talking about turbo cd add on, not the same in terms of value or the things it will play out of the box. in my opinion that would be a bit high for a loose one, you'd need more details. you'll also want to research up the hardware a bit, there are arcade cards and whatnot that determine what games you can play.

Yeah...it sounds like you're describing a Turbo CD...which in this case would be overpriced.

Ys and Dracula X are both CD games...so...In addition to the Turbo CD, you'd need a Turbo Grafx 16, and a System Card...and I'm pretty sure Dracula X requires a Super System Card...

Yeah and unless your a die hard castlevania fan its not worth the 300$ price tag your looking at for all the thing you will need. And the turbo grafix dosent exsactly have what i would call a great library most of the good games are hard to find and reallt exspensive. But hey you could always have hours of fun with kieth curage since thats about the only game you can find for cheap any more.

i actually already have a turbo grafx 16 and a decent amount of games(including keith courage lol) its ones of my favorite systems so i regulary buy games for it on ebay even though they are overpriced. i would consider myself a big castlevania fan and i really dont want to spend that much for dracula x but i think i might end up doing it because i already own every castlevania released in the u.s. and this one is supposed to be the best. I also want to play Ys book 1 and 2...if i dont get one of these i'll probably get a DS instead

Didn't they also do the Dracula X title for the SNES? Or is it one of those 'similar but different' things like Shadowrun for the SNES & Genesis?

Hex.

[ actually has abox for Castlevania X; nothing else though. ]

Yeah they did but it got really destroyed. Well if your bent on getting it dont spend over 80 for the system alone i paid 130$ for the system and base unit. And dracula x is going to to run you 130$ pretty much anyway you do it.

How did they botch Castlevania X on the SNES? I'm under the impression that it still commands a noteworthy price (not $130!) -- not that I've looked really hard for it or anything. I'm happy with my complete Genesis version of Bloodlines. And I SO suck at the castlevania series.

i have that sneses version of dracula x,it's pretty good in my opinion, similar to castlevania 4 but apparently very different and worse than the turbo duo version, and yes it's relatively expensive,i think it goes for about $50 on ebay
