Stingray #2 Posted March 8, 2005 Coleco used to make all kinds of toys back in the '70s & '80s. -S
Jess Ragan #3 Posted March 8, 2005 Yeah, our family owned a metal-sided Coleco swimming pool before my parents decided to cut it up and use the metal while building a chicken coop. JR
Ralph3 #4 Posted March 9, 2005 I used to have a Coleco pool also. Had it for many years (5 maybe-which is not bad for a cheap metal pool) and we had to replace the liner and we went to the manufacture/warehouse and get one and they had a small storefront and also sold ColecoVision games there also. And don't forget the original Cabbage Patch Kids were made by Coleco.

+else #6 Posted March 9, 2005 Coleco used to make all kinds of toys back in the '70s & '80s. And they toys they made were generally the cheapest and lowest quality stuff. They were the bottom of the barrel back then -- until the Colecovision came along!
HawgWyld #7 Posted March 10, 2005 And they toys they made were generally the cheapest and lowest quality stuff. They were the bottom of the barrel back then -- until the Colecovision came along! I don't know. Some of those "Head-to-Head" handheld sports games were great. The football variation of those was more fun than a barrel full of brass monkey... A.J. Franzman #11 Posted March 17, 2005 heres a funny coleco product i found, guess what video game its trying to emulate Huh? Does it say Coleco on the back or something? Because it says "Milton Bradley" on the front...
christianscott27 #12 Posted March 17, 2005 Huh? Does it say Coleco on the back or something? Because it says "Milton Bradley" on the front... nice eye for detail! thats not a pic of mine just something i grabbed online. on mine it says "COLECO POCKETFULS" right where that one says milton bradley. on the back its says made by TOMY for coleco industries inc. and get this - the copyright is well past the arcade crash, its 1987. guess this is like how certain tabletop games came out under several brands: sears/entex, tomy/tandy/grandstand
