128bytes #1 Posted March 8, 2005 I have never taken the plunge to buy a link cable. I have Zelda LTTP and have never played 4 swords! I also have Activision Anthology and haven't played it in 2 player mode... I'm thinking that if I really like using link cables that I can keep myself from wanting to spend $$ on a DS or a PSP. 2 questions which (I believe) haven't been asked on this forum? 1) What are some of the best 4 player games for the GBA that require only 1 cartridge? Mario Kart? 2) What are some of the best 2 player games for the GBA? Also, any recommendations on link cables, etc.

Avid Fan #4 Posted March 8, 2005 Yep, go first party all the way. I had an 2 different link cables that didnt last more than a month, and that was using it a few times. Mario Kart is cool, but its slow using only 1 cart Activision anthology is 2 player, but only on one screen. Its meant to be played on the Gameboy Player, and use a link cable and GBA for a 2nd controller. Been wanting to get this for a while. Boy do I miss Activision Tennis
liveinabin #5 Posted March 8, 2005 Bomberman is great for a bit of 2 player GBA fun (and fully featured from just one cartridge as well) My wife and I also play the Gameboy Color versions of Defender and Joust on linkup (but on GBA in widescreen, this is, incidentally, my favourite version of Joust on any system).
