My Krokodile Rocks!! 1 question though.

First let me say I recieved my Krokodile Cart today (& holiday QB), and I'm WAY happy! I was able to get everything up and running, create a multicart, and start playing in just a few minutes.

 

My question is...... Should my computer be turned off before I connect or disconnect the KC to the serial cable, or is it ok to plug it in/ unplug it hot? I chose to go the safe route and turn everything off, but I was just wondering.

No, you don't need to turn off your computer.

As Mitch said, you do not need to turn your computer off in order to connect the Krokodile Cart to your computer. Glad you received your Kroko Cart and that you're enjoying it!

I'm happy to have received mine as well, but I'm not very computer savvy so it might be a while before I get mine up and running. I loaded the cd up and I don't see the picture that is in the manual.

I clicked on the Krokodile Commander.exe file and it says that I can't open it and that I have to do the bankswitching by hand. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to getting this up and running. Still don't have the picture shown in the manual. When it boots up it shows D: Krokodile Commander and asks me if I want to transfer pictures among other options.

Below is "in essence" is what I did. Try it.

 

Make yourself a new folder on your hard drive and name it something like Krokodile.

 

Copy the whole "Krokodile Commander" folder over to your new folder, then make a shortcut to the .exe and place it on your desktop.

 

While your at it, go ahead and copy the rest of the folders into your new folder as well.

 

Install the program in the "jet" folder(by clicking on it).

 

hook up the cart and open the commander.
