How much of this is stolen from RS Boxing, and how much of it is real? It looks great and plays really well. The select screen is better than RS Boxing, but I can't shake the feeling somebody "borrowed" some code for this one.....

I wish I could figure out how to run Clonespy. It would be interesting.

 

Now if we go by on-screen copywrite dates, both Title Match Pro Wrestling and RS Boxing are 1987. So which game borrowed the code? (If there was any borrowing.)

I believe Atari had Absolute program RS Boxing for them. Absolute then did Titlematch.

Thanks guys, they do seem awful similar. And I think I actually like Titlematch a lot. Its way fun! And the wrasslers look cool!

All I seem to be able to do is throw a few punches and then the computer pins me and it is over!

I agree but it is more fun with two players because its more even, and more enjoyable. I love walking around on the bottom rope to bellyflop on the downed opponent.

I have read the instructions and they are useless because the computer has you pinned before you can execute any moves.

wow they sure do look similar. i remember trying these once and not trying them again, much like raft rider. games that are completely forgettable. really is funny how obviously similar they are, though.
