AlexKIDD #1 Posted March 15, 2005 Are these both exactly the same game or are they both just in the same series? I only have dragon's fury but i've seen screenshots of devil's crush and they look the same. Also,if they are the same game which is the better version? NovaXpress #2 Posted March 15, 2005 Drason's Fury is a Devil's Crush port for the Megadrive. There are soem slight graphics differences. The proper Devil's Crush sequels are the awesome Alien Crush for the TG-16 and Jaki Crush for the Super famicom.
+-^CrossBow^- #3 Posted March 15, 2005 Far as I know Devil's Crush and Fury are the same game. difference is that Crush is the TG16 original and Fury is the Genesis port. I have played both, and I think the Genesis version is more smooth and the colors or graphics a tad better. But I think the sound was best on the TG16 as I recall. Either way, the same teams I believe ported the Genesis version that created the TG16 original so it is a very good port. I have the Genesis version, in fact I have a spare of it I think? Dragon's Revenge was the sequal made for the Genesis, and it isn't nearly as polished. Music is okay, but not as good, and the graphics aren't nearly as good in my opinion. Still the second one is a tough pin to master and still has solid gameplay.

In fact, there is a version of Devil's Crush for the Mega Drive with the original graphics. The US Genesis version has altered graphics - all of the religious symbolism was removed. Devil's Crush is a great game on the TG-16, and I played it quite a bit back when the TurboGrafx was young. Never played the Genesis version, though. ..Al

Never played the Genesis version, though. I've played both versions on a modded Genesis (language switch & widened cartridge port).. after playing Devil's Crush, Dragon's Fury just felt like a mere shadow of the original. In fact, I was frankly surprised to find imports available for rent at the shop I rented it from back in the day. I even played the Ranma 1/2 fighter that was turned into Street Combat.
