Even though this was a knock off of Rastan, I really loved this game.

My big beef was, I wish you could use that big freakin' sword all the time!

My dad works for a video game business. I have the rom board(dont work though), and on my mame program.

Any thoughts on this game?

I know you are gonna hate me for this one Out of Gas, but here goes... You asked for my opinions on this one, and remember this is JUST my opinion...

 

NASTAR WARRIORS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! And not just sucks... F'ING SUCKS LONG DONKEY DONG... (as opposed to Donkey Kong)

 

A few things you should know...

 

A. Rastan (original) RULED... There was no equal in that dept.

 

B. Nastar Warrior wasn't a knockoff, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SEQUAL! That's actually RASTAN PT 2! Taito TOTALLY BLEW THAT ONE! Notice Nastar is Rastan with mixed up letters...

 

But the graphics were totally blocky, the game was slow and sluggish, the music sucked compared to Rastan... I went from LOVING Rastan to hoping for a great sequal, and ended up with Nastar... I was PISSED! Taito actually redeemed themselves with Rastan 3. Push that one through MAME, I think you'll agree...

 

Anyways that's just my 2 cents... If you like it you like it... There's no arguing that one... Don't let my pissyness ruin that... Check out Rastan 3
