Kirby's Adventure Rocks!!!

Thanks for suggesting this game a while back. Im loving every minute of it. I even put down Halo 2 to play Kirby. I like the idea of stealing powers from your enemies, and the mini games. Its just quirky enough to make it fun. Now, after I beat the game, what next for the NES??? I picked up battletoads, but its a bit hard for me...

Little Samson is a fantastic platformer. It's not the same as Kirby's Adventure, but it's an excellent game in its own right.

Kirby is great! I had never played it until about a year ago, and then I picked it up and found out how cool it was! Great game, not too hard, but tons or replay and lots of fun times!

 

Next you should try Blues Brothers, a hysterically fun platformer with great music!

Metal Mech is a really fun platform/shooter with some cool gameplay elements. It's cheap and fairly easy to find. And it has great graphics to boot.

I like the difficulty level of kirby. Not to easy, but not hard enough to really frustrate me like some games.

You may already have it but if not i'd recommend Castlevania III: Dracula's curse,my favorite nes game.

Flintstones: Rescue of Dino and Hoppy is a great platformer as well. Beautiful colors, faithful to the cartoon and some really good levels (I'm stuck on the ice level right now).

 

Plus it features one of the greatest lines ever in video games

There is a min-game where you have to play basketball v. a generic guy opponent and he tells you "If you win, you'll get a prize, but if you lose you'll have a hard time.

For some reason, I always loved TMNT for NES. It can get frustrating and a little repetative, but damn fun. For me anyway.

Or you can try Milon's Secret Castle, by Hudson. A great platformer with lots to explore and lots of challenge! But you'll need to know the continue code (left and start when you die and return to the start screen), if you are going to beat it!

Damn I love Kirbys Adventure When I first got it I thought "kids game" but is is some awesome-bad Mojo Gotsta love it.

Too many suggestions not enough time or money to pick them all up. The last two lists you all gave me were around 100 games and now Ive got about 10 more. I still need to finish Kirby. Great stuff.

 

 

I totally missed out on the NES due to a tandy pc at the time... So Im reliving my childhood one game at a time.
