liveinabin #1 Posted January 16, 2002 Hmm, that topic name sounded a bit 'Sex pistols' hehe, oh well What I'd like to ask any UK collectors watching, is were there any Atari TV commercials in England? If so, were they the same as the US ones. I sure as heck can't remember any and I KNOW I'd remember a jingle as catchy as "have you played Atari today?" PeeknPoke #2 Posted January 16, 2002 There was a cool Atari2600 ad from Morcambe and Wise! True!! it was a mad escapade in which the men came into a house party with the atari console, placed it on the TV and played some games, The ad was very quick but Ill always remember Eric's immortal line..."Anyone for Haunted House?" Would love to see this ad again! Lee
Atarinvader #3 Posted January 16, 2002 I think I read about that ad', it rings a bell, but I've never seen it. The Sega Bus was a bus full of Sega. It was inside that I had my first taste of Sonic. At the time I had my 2600, but my mates had Master Systems.
Atarinvader #4 Posted January 17, 2002 Not that I remember. But we don't get many games commercials here anyway. The Sega Master Systems were good though. Did you every see the Sega bus?
liveinabin #5 Posted January 17, 2002 The Sega Bus?? er.. no. Was that like some twisted version of 'the double deckers'?
