turbo grafx/duo emulator

Does anyone know if there are any free turbo grafx or duo emulators online? I know about magic engine but i'd like to know if there is a free one before i pay for something.

Yeah. Hugo. But TG16/PCE emulation on it is not as good. I mean it works.. but there are all sorts of tiny little aspects that pop up that not faithful to the real thing on most any game.

 

That's what sucks about emulation for that console.. NOTHING is really up to par. Magic Engine is real good, but even that has some glitches.

 

Pretty strange eh.

 

I'd say if you are even going to try and play this console via emulation, Magic Engine is pretty much the only game worth it in town.

You're totally right about MagicEngine. Go with MagicEngine and you won't be let down. Not when compared to "other" TG emulation out there.

You can see all the emulators that they have for Windows and even all the ones you were asking about the GBA. Lots of stuff on the net about emus too.

 

For TG16 I found TGEmu to be a decent free emu.

Magic Engine is only $15 -- if you like the Turbo, it's money well spent. Version 1.0 has modern graphic smoothing options like antialiasing which make the games so much better to watch.

 

I know you want it to be free, but think of it this way: every time I think about getting a used Turbo from Ebay, I think back to the $15 I spent on this software, go back and play a little Devil's Crush, and forget all about Ebay. Problem solved, money saved.

I'm hoping the Mac version gets updated to 1.0. The last Mac version is 0.9.x, which doesn't have CD support in OS X. I would gladly pay $15 if I could run CD TG-16 games.
