PaulEMoz #26 Posted March 31, 2005 Baku baku was great i wish i had a copy. I have! It's one of the few puzzle games I like.
pinball22 #27 Posted March 31, 2005 I love puzzle games. Some that haven't been mentioned that I really like are Palamedes and Hatris (both for the NES). If we extend the definition of puzzle game a little, Pipe Dream (NES/GB/lots of others) and Pipe Dream 3D (PSX) are incredibly fun. If you like MMORPGs, try Puzzle Pirates. It's a great pirate-themed MMORPG where you play puzzle games to perform all the actions in the game (sailing is like Dr. Mario, bilging is like Bejeweled, swordfighting is like Super Puzzle Fighter, drinking is like Alchemy, etc.)
Cobra Commander #28 Posted March 31, 2005 I remember Pipedream 3D in the store, wasnt it released in the long box? I'm sort of collecting long box PS1 games a little.
pinball22 #29 Posted March 31, 2005 It wasn't released until the PS2 was out, so it's jewel-case. Well worth picking up, though.
jeepnut24 #30 Posted March 31, 2005 I could glue tetris into my og gameboy and never miss a beat. Still gets the most play time in my portable. I liked Super Bubble Pop for XBox. Dirt cheap and fun for a few hours at least. 3D too which is kinda neat.

Shannon #32 Posted April 1, 2005 Actually tetrisphere was the game I was thinking of... Purely messmerizing but takes a little while to get the hang of.

sigma #34 Posted April 1, 2005 Kickle Cubicle (nes) is rocksome, and much better than Lolo imo.
Dones #35 Posted April 1, 2005 There is one old tetris derivative called Block Out. It's basically tetris in 3D. You look at the well from a top down perspective. Along with the clockwise and counterclockwise buttons you have two additional third "z-wise and y-wise" buttons. It's all done in wireframe graphics and it really puts your brain into spatial overdrive.
