guitarmas #1 Posted April 1, 2005 I'm just curious as to what joystick/gamepads you all recommend for playing Nes and Snes emulation. Please post your thoughts.
Clint Thompson #2 Posted April 1, 2005 Isn't there a way to hook up the original NES pad to the PC these days?
guitarmas #3 Posted April 1, 2005 There is, but I figure a decent gamepad would work too.

Dones #5 Posted April 1, 2005 There is an older but still feasible solution: making a pad to printer port adapter of your pad of choice. DirectPad Pro is a joystick driver that supports a whole bunch of console pads. There is a newer version for win 2000/XP systems. Spanish website Emulatronia has a nice graphical guide called How to connect your pad to your pc (translated to English). Before USB I did a few parallel adapters for NES, SNES, and Playstation. They are easy, require little electronics knowledge and are fun to do.
Avid Fan #6 Posted April 2, 2005 Looks like the 2600 version is stepping on the feet of the stelladaptor, but thats just my opinion
