is that a bally astrocade rusty is playing?

Yes, it is.

Funny, I never noticed the actual console in this shot before, even though I've known since day 1 they were using the Astrocade controllers. I just figured they were hooked up to the Apple.

I was watching Zodiac yesterday (true story about the Zodiac killer), and I noticed at around 1 hour and 38 minutes into it, when two of the main characters were talking there was an old TV next to one of them, the TV had Pong on it. With the ball going into the right player's field then coming up, just on that repeated pattern.

I'm not sure if that one has been posted here or not, if it hasn't I can easily grab a screenshot from the movie.

Link to IMDB if anyone's wondering which movie it is... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443706/

Intellivision.

SInce I had intellivision back in the day and a major fan i can recall some movies that very briefly had it.

In the movie 'Easy Money' with Rodney Dangerfield they showed their living room and in one scene you can see an intellivision sitting on a table.

In the movie 'Private School for Girls' (one of those 80s Phobe Cates teen movies) I recall a scene where they are in an arcade and in the background you can clearly hear the sound effects of the Intellivision version of Donkey Kong.

I also recall very vaguely the Canadian TV show SCTV doing a parity of the Intellivision commercials.

NES console shows up in Rocky V i'll try to get a still image of it

I scanned through it, but didn't see it. Can you tell me approximately where it shows up?

OK they still haven't lost all the money and they still live in the mansion, its where Rocky goes into Rocky Jr's room and on top of the TV you see a NES, Rocky Jr is drawing something

Watching an Australian Movie called "The Black Balloon", a movie about Autism, regardless, one of the presents the father gave his Autistic son was a SNES, the movie was set around the 90's. He also cleared away an Commodore computer away from the TV to plug it in.

Thanks,

Keep them coming, and i'll add them all the the galery. It will take me a little while, due to a back log and the links needed for decent descriptions, so bear with me.. i havent forgotten.

i know it is now 1241 days later and since my last post, but i assure you i haven't forgotten. anyone who would like to add to the gallery is welcome to. thanks to everyone who have been keeping this forum alive. also, it occurs to me that since 2005, more consoles are now considered retro, eg a playstation was out dated then, but early now its mid 90's retro.

My favorite flick to feature video games was the Bishop Of Battle segment of the horror anthology Nightmares (1983).

I found this AWESOME site giving summary and lots of pictures.

If you like video games, you have to see this movie!!

Warning! This site gives the total story including the ending so if you want to check it out for yourself on DVD or video don't click on page 2.

I surprised when I went to see Zack and Miri make a porno. In the scene where they get their power and water turned back on they show an O2 under their TV.

I thought it was pretty cool. I don't think I've ever seen one in a movie before.

There was also a ColecoVision in Family Guy. It was in "I Take Thee Quagmire" I believe when Peter is cleaning is bellybutton.

I think there was a PS1 in an episode of Cowboy Bebop. It's where they go to Mars and meet Jet's friend's daughter. the PS1 was in some Native American style house.

This is really random, but there's this instructional video for second-year Russian students used by teachers called 'In Search of Orlovsky.' At one point, in a 'peasant's' home, there is a television with an NES hooked up in the back. They didn't even have the NES! Only Dendy and other models!

There is an episode of Freaks and Geeks called "The Garage Door" that features an Atari 2600.  The Atari was actually part of the plot.  Freaks and Geeks was the best!  I'll post some video grabs in a second.  Here is a write up I found on http://epguides.com/FreaksandGeeks/guide.shtml

Below are some of the stills I took from my DVDs.

I only remember the clearance carts, like all the CommaVid titles, sitting in a bin for one to help themselves. Everything else was behind a counter or locked up in a glass cabinet.
