Cap5750 #78 Posted April 18, 2005 Nightmare on Elmstreet 6 (or Freddy's Dead - The Final Nightmare) This is obviously fake (for the most part) but was a great scene. We hear Freddy exclaim phrases such as: "Great graphics!" "You forgot the Power Glove!" "Well waddaya know? I beat my high score!" Cap
Cap5750 #79 Posted April 18, 2005 5 Pics for Revenge of The Nerds The 5th, isn't really video games, but is interesting. Cap
Cap5750 #80 Posted April 18, 2005 Road Trip I included two shots for the first scene. In the first, you can see the N64 controllers and the second, we actually get a shot of the console. Cap
Dones #81 Posted April 18, 2005 Here's a couple of pics from Knight Rider.... Cap 838892 Is that an actual game or made up graphics? Haydn 838897 That's the infamous Knight Rider homebrew everyone is still waiting for!
Cap5750 #82 Posted April 18, 2005 Some shots from Superman III. Again, not all of these are exactly vg related. Cap
Cap5750 #83 Posted April 18, 2005 A whole bunch of pics from Terminator 2. It was tough in the arcade to get real clear shots. Yet, I was able to identify most games....all but two I think. Cap
Cap5750 #84 Posted April 18, 2005 Tron...including a shot of a handheld game. They don't show the screen, so I'm not sure exactly which game it is, but I believe it's probably a Mattel Football. Cap
Cap5750 #85 Posted April 18, 2005 Wargames - Shall We Play A Game? This is the last of what was on the list (from Haydn's site) that I have (knowingly) with the exception of Close Encounters which I just didn't see. Cap

Mental Vortex #88 Posted April 18, 2005 Here's a couple of pics from Knight Rider.... Cap 838892 Is that an actual game or made up graphics? Haydn 838897 That's gotta be Auto Racing on the Intellivision. I grew up playing that game, and it's a good one too.
Albert #89 Posted April 18, 2005 Here's Firestarter. Can't tell what game it is, but I doubt this one is real. In the background you hear a sound (sort of like the bonus countdown sound on Video Pinball), but we never see her use that joystick at all. Cap 838909 That is Slither, which is a Roller Controller game, which you can see her using with her right hand. So definitely a real game, and the image on the screen matches. The sound probably was taken from Video Pinball or something else, which isn't very surprising. ..Al
Cap5750 #90 Posted April 18, 2005 I'll keep my eyes open for more goodies. I think I have D.A.R.Y.L. on video tape, so if I took caps with that, they wouldn't look as clear, but could possibly be sufficient until someone redoes them with a DVD. Red 5 #94 Posted April 19, 2005 I looked for a better shot, but couldn't find one anywhere. I haven't seen the show in ages, but know there were at least 4 arcade games in his mansion. I was so freakin' jealous. I am catching up though, with two arcade games of my own. No train to get around the house yet though.

Cap5750 #97 Posted April 19, 2005 Back To The Future 2 I looked for a reference in BTTF 1 as mentioned on the website I posted yesterday, but didn't see it. I found a timeline through google and the only mention it makes it for BTTF 2. Cap
A.J. Franzman #98 Posted April 20, 2005 In the short movie All Summer in a Day, sounds that supposedly had something to do with establishing a video phone call actually came from Atari 2600 Pac-Man. Sounds from that particular port also made their way into Superman III Back in the '80s through the late '90s, hardly a week went by when I didn't catch the Atari 2600 Pac-Man sounds being used in a movie, TV show, TV commercial or radio ad. Funny, I can't remember one instance right now, but the complete list would be several dozen if anyone could make it.
A.J. Franzman #99 Posted April 20, 2005 (edited) Also, I seem to remember Kareem Abdul Jabar playing Atari Basketball in Airplane!.Kareem was on the plane, and I don't remember any games in there. However, Atari 2600 Basketball was being played by a couple of the air traffic controllers on one of the "radar" screens. Edited April 20, 2005 by A.J.
