+RangerG #1 Posted April 2, 2005 I don't have a lot of space; my games are all from the wild where boxes are tough to find; and many boxes look bad to me with tears from being opened. For all of these reasons, I haven't collected boxed games - yet! I recently found a boxed 2600 game (gatefold style) and about 70 Intellivision boxed games (about 50 are the Mattel gatefold/book style). I love these boxes and now I want to determine which classic games (pre-NES) came in these style boxes. I'm pretty sure it is: the original numbered Atari releases (9 total?) and the corresponding Sears releases (thus 18?). The Mattel Intellivision releases (about 60 games?). Also, all the O2 (non third-party releases) are book style also? Any more? Anyone else a big gatefold fan? - they just stack so well and you can take them off the shelf and pile them up to use them. Thanks for the help.

Bruce Tomlin #3 Posted April 2, 2005 Pitfall II for the PC Jr. is a gatefold, but it's only a gatefold for the artwork. You still have to open the ends to get to the cartridge.
