What is YOUR favorite 2600 game? (..read me..)

I was wondering what exactly everyones alltime favorite Atari 2600 game. Personally mine is probably Asteroids. I also love Yellow Submarine. Which hasnt come out yet, because I made it... Dont mean to sound to full of myself but but I like the original version of the game too, but I cant help but like mine better. (Yellow Sub. is a hack of Bermuda Triangle) I was just interested to know what all your favorite games are.

i whould say atlantis it was like my 5th game when i was a kid i still love it and always will .

I constantly played Starmaster, Chopper Command, Ghostbusters, Moon Patrol, Phoenix, Tapper and Tac-Scan, although I would probably say it is Reactor. Definitely the most underrated game on the 26. Graphics sucked, but the play was mind-bogglingly addictive.

I agree,but this is what made the 2600/vcs so popular;the large number of great games.I have like a top 25 list of games,then there is a secondary list of another 25;sort of like the 'b' side lists of those old 45 records(hope I haven't lost you, newbies).Then there is the new games & or hacks that some people are talented enough to do for us all;so these new games get put in the list also.

So to answer the ?.My top four games recently are jr. pac-man,star trek,QB,thrust and, if I want a nastalgic arcade trip, I get my box of silver label games out.Or if I am in the mood for 'adventure' type games I get dark chambers,montazuma's revenge,raiders of the lost ark,and lately lord of the rings on the z26 emulator.

There is no simple answer....so many choices, so little time.

I like Yar's Revenge, Robot Tank, Montezuma's Revenge, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Wizard of Wor, Adventure...

I honestly though cant find anything real addictive about Adventure, so many people love it, I thought it was frustrating. I always kept losing the items in between walls and stuff and couldnt get them back lol.

The games I love the most are:

1) Raiders of the Lost Ark.

2) Pitfall.

3) Adventure.

4) Wizard of Wor.

5) Montezumas Revenge.

These were some of the First games I had as a kid, and I still love.

Adventure. Definitely Adventure. I used to play this game over and over when I was a kid. I always used to get scared of the dragons. And today, Adventure is sitll my favorite game on the system. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Pitfall, and Solaris are all at a close second, though.

For Adventure: Adventure

 

Best overall (for graphics and overall playability-single and double), still have to go with Kaboom. Just paid way too much for a boxed copy, if that gives any idea.
