What are your favorite 2600 Game labels???

What are your favorite game lables. Not necasarily by company, but which specific labels are your favorites? Id like to build a display case to show off some of the neat 2600 front labels. I don't have a huge collection so Im looking for some carts I may not know about.

 

For me it has to be each of the Special Activision lables. (Hero, Private Eye, Beamrider)

 

I also love the Red Label Games with the color picures.

 

I love the US game lables too. Neat pictures

 

Some of the Pirate carts have some neat lables too.

Sounds cool. I've been considering doing something similar. Make sure to post some pics when you get it all put together. I like almost all of the black Atari picture labels. To me, those say "Atari" like nothing else. Probably the best looking cartridge I have is Threshold. Great looking artwork set off by a uniquely colored cartridge.

 

Sorceror has a nice looking label too. For more common games, I think Frogger is pretty striking.

When I get the case done Ill post some pictures up. I still need to finish my arcade cab first though. Just wanted something nice to display the fronts of a few of my carts. Plenty of end labels but not much of the actual artwork.

I liked Missile Commands artwork so much that I drew a copy of it years ago when I was about 14 years old.I'll have to get it out and post it on my website.(which has not been updated in ages)

What's funny is that the artwork always made the game "look" better than the 'blocks and bleeps' that it really was.Nowdays they can actually print a screenshot without blushing...

I personally like the IMAGIC labels. The cool silver tone, combined with the strange-but-cool models they hammed up for the pictures was great. I love the dime-store rubber dinosaur with model airplane wings on Demon Attack. Nothing like a good can o' silver spray paint to make yer label art with! I remember drooling over the boxes as a kid at sears. I always thought Star Raiders was cool as well.

If you don't own the carts, you can always consider pasting labels together from scans and printing out some nice color copies to hang on the wall instead.
