games you've "rolled over"

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what are some of the games you've rolled over considering I did it with 2600 asteroids a couple times this week. I'd like to know if anyone has done this with namco museum galaga. That would mean getting 999,999 which is insane since i've only got 150,000 and I think i'm pretty good.

I've only rolled Asteroids on the VCS. I was so proud! Then I was told that it wasn't that difficult and I realized once again that I suck at video games! :-P

At one time in my life I was able to roll over Dig Dug... And if memory serves me correctly (it was almost 20 years ago), I was able to reach 1 million points at Arkanoid (at the game's end) though I don't remember if it actually rolled or not...

I've scored 2M on galaga arcade, hardest setting :)

The 2600 games I've rolled over include Asteroids and Video Pinball. I've also rolled over Centipede, but that was when playing the "teddy bear" version, so that one doesn't really count.

I once rolled Midnight Magic over. You get a little bonus eye candy when that happens.

I can't say I recall rolling games on any other system, or in the arcade.

None. If I get good enough at a game so that I COULD roll it over, I generally get bored after an hour or soand turn it off. Zen and the art of Lazy Gaming, you know?

I once rolled over Mario Bros. Not the score, but the levels - once you hit 99 it loops back to the beginning again. This was years and years ago, so I don't clearly remember, but I suspect that I had cheated with Game Genie. Still count?

Add 2600 space invaders to the list as well.

I thought of another one. If we are counting games that have an ending you can add.

Kaboom

Dodge 'em

Raiders Of The Lost Ark

Hehe, we should point Todd to this thread and have him put on his list LMAO. I think it would be easier for him, just to say, look at any of the Atari 2600 world records on twin galaxies.

Worm War 1, and Asteroids are the only ones I recall rolling over. May have a few others, but I rarely check.
