Pengo sealed in the box.

Recommended Posts

I just won the bid on a sealed, mint in the box copy of Pengo for $94.00 on ebay. Does anyone think I paid too much for this. I have not seen a boxed copy of Pengo ever in the two years I have been on ebay.

Yes, I think too is a good price. I have get my Pengo only loose for ca. US$ 25.00. And complete they are more Rarer.

Yes, we'd very much like to get a scan of the box, as we don't have one presently. However, I think I have a Pengo manual in my possession, so no need to scan that.

Hey Albert, no problem, you know I will do all that I can to help out Atariage, so when I receive the box, I will scan it and send it over.

Are you sure it is mint? I stopped bidding because in the picture it looks like the box is quite squished... or did I see wrong?

Cheers,

I guess Mint would be pushing it, because the box does look a little crushed at the bottom, in typical Atari fashion. However, I'm sure the contents inside are mint. And it's cool seeing an original Sears price tag on the box bottom. As for the price, well, if you're willing to spend $94 for it then I guess it's worth that much! That's a touch high for my blood, but if it was one of the last remaining Silver box Atari games I needed for my collection then I might have gone that high.

It wasn't boxed, but I picked up Pengo with the instructions for $14 last week. I think this is one of those boxes I'll never get...

i cant see spending 94 on pengo . maybe 45 or 50 on a sealed boxed one but it was a good deal at 94 jsut the same. 50 for tomarc wasnt bad. i ended paying 90 for shuttle orbiter while back. i think that was a fair deal but its one mans opinion. pengo loose i only paid 1.99 for. (God Bless the idiots that listed the game as ATARE 260 lol his screwup was my gain
