JagFest US 2005?

Are there any plans to have a JagFest in the US any time soon? Is there someone who has traditionally arranged this kind of thing, if it has occurred in the past?

 

Anybody want to come to New Britain, CT for JagFest 2005?

I sold two controllers so far, trying to get some exposure to sell more. Finally got knobs and all that....

Haven't had much time to mess with the encoder since I got it...had it hooked up to try out quickly but haven't mounted it permanently in my joystick yet. Maybe this weekend.

as of right now Fest2005 is basicly set to have some sort thing at Philly classic, as for MGC, that depends on it's date,VGS, very doubtfull,unless I get enough people geta section going. there might be something at OVGE though as well.

I hope there's some Jag stuff at OVGE. There wasn't very much at all last year.

 

I was hoping there would be another JagFest at the Austin Game Expo in 2004, but alas, there wasn't an AGE 2004. And as the months go past, it seems less and less likely there'll be another AGE this year.

I know brad P will be bringing some jaguar items to the show (as well as the final jagfest issue I made last year) he is also representing AVC for me at the show.

I think it would be cool to have another small USA JagFest, like in the good ol' days. JF99 and JF2K1 were both events I really enjoyed a lot, and I'm sure attendees at other years could vouch for those events being cool, too.

There are quite a few of us CT Atarians. Unfortunately, most of us are more into the VCS, 5200 and 7800 than we are into the Jaguar.

 

I hosted a game party at my house last October that had a pretty decent turnout from NY, NJ, CT and Pennsylvannia. I plan on having another late this summer or early this fall look for an announcement in the Events forum.

'course you could alsways pop over the pond to the UK for JagFest'05... or the Euro JagFest or France or Jag Connexxion etc etc

 

After all the flight would probably be cheaper than travelling across the States... and our beers (even Fench beer) is better (course the French do have halfway decent wine )
