Atarimix Happy 10 Games for Nintendo DS

That's the Japanese title for the "Retro Atari Classics" game for the Nintendo DS. I almost want to buy it now, except I know that it sucks, so I won't.

I have this (the us version) and think it is pretty decent. All of the remakes suck, but all of the originals are faithfully ported IMO. I haven't tried the multiplayer on the pong and sprint, but it does play a damn good game of gravitar, tempest, and centipede. Missile command suffers on the control because you can see the missiles comming, but you can't hit them until they get to the touch screen.

Tempest is about as UNfaithful a port as I could imagine -- worse than the "classic" mode in Tempest 2000 by far ... and that was done from memory by the coder, without access to the original machine.
