If you have a digital camera the cable that came with it should plug right into the top of the PSP. Then go to USB mode on your PSP and you computer will see the PSP as a removable storage device. Drap and Drop till your hearts content. This is the way I do it since I don't have to take the mem stick out of the PSP.

I don't have a wireless router yet so I'm lost to all the wi-fi goodies.

Complete instructions can be found here.

I've only used the official Sony Converter so I can't say how well the other ones work. I tried to get it from the sony site but it was all in Japanese so I just e-muled it.

I've done several movies. The compression is great - 490MB to 190MB.

That will depend ENTIRELY on what camera you have.

Some camears have full-size USB ports instead of the mini-port.

Others have some infernal proprietary connector that requires you to use their proprietary cable.

Can I hijack this thread with another question? Aren't these things supposed to come with a UMD with Spiderman 2? Mine didn't. I was under the impression that the first million had it as a pack in, and that a million units have not been sold yet.

I thought the Spiderman 2 pack-in was limited to the first 100,000 customers, myself. That film was actually a selling point for me, as I hadn't seen it prior to buying my PSP. I'm very glad it was included with my system.

Anyway, the background colors in the BIOS are determined by the date. March is green, April is pink (probably to coincide with the cherry blossoms growing in Japan at around that time), and so forth. You could technically choose your preferred color by changing the date, but that's a rather screwy way to do things.

PSP files have to go in certain directories. I'm sure the above links mention that.
