AlexKIDD #1 Posted April 23, 2005 Anyone know of a place online that lists every nes game released in the U.S.?
Jess Ragan #2 Posted April 23, 2005 GameFAQs has one... just look in the NES hardware section. I'm using Ayce Sen's complete list of US games... it's been a handy resource while writing my NES book. JR

keilbaca #4 Posted April 23, 2005 Official Nintendo releases, straight from the horses mouth: http://www.nintendo.com/doc/nes_games.pdf 842469[/snapback] Except, 3rd party games aren't listed... look, no Gauntlet, and its sitting on my shelf right now, directly from Tengen. onkyo_emu #5 Posted April 23, 2005 There's PLENTY of third party games on that list. You could go nuts looking for all the "NON-official" Nintendo stuff. Remember that Tengen didn't bear "the seal". At any rate, it's a great starting point and you know that Nintendo themselves probably didn't miss anything, (that they didn't want to.)
onkyo_emu #6 Posted April 23, 2005 Gauntlet II however is on the list and has that big ol' seal of approval. But that was Mindscape I believe.
ubersaurus #7 Posted April 23, 2005 www.digitpress.com's online rarity guide lists pretty much all the NES US releases.
Dr. Morbis #8 Posted April 24, 2005 (edited) Gamefaqs' list makes it difficult to discern domestic titles from the non-US releases, and Nintendo's list conviently forgets the 3 licensed Tengen games (Pac-Man, RBI, and Gauntlet) and perhaps more. DP is your best bet. Edited April 24, 2005 by Dr. Morbis
Radio F Software #9 Posted April 24, 2005 www.nesplayer.com Has a list exculsively for Third-Party Non Licensed games on their site somewhere.
christianscott27 #10 Posted April 25, 2005 but what about the sanchen games? DP lists em although it throws in the caveat that sanchen games probably were never available in the US as a retail item. sorta bugs me since i'm working on a complete US NES collection and those missing 50 games are on their list. my two cents, i've been collecting NES for 6 years, seen thousands and thousands of games, never once seen a sanchen. nester #11 Posted April 25, 2005 http://www.steverd.com/rare/rare.htm This is one of the places I went to compile my own list. I believe the number is 771, although I'm often wrong.

How would any American have obtained a Sachen cart at any time in the past? They would have had to go through the same channels that one has to go through to import anything that is not available in their country (like say, Famicom games). So my short answer is: I don't count them. Also, Andrew Krieg has great lists, not only for NES, but for most other classic systems: Video Game Hunter's Oasis
