ATARIPITBULL #1 Posted February 3, 2002 I just received the new mailer from Best buy and in the video game section I see that they have remade E.T. for the game cube. After how badly it did on the 2600 I wonder how it will do now. Has anyone bought it, or played it yet, if so how did you like it.

liveinabin #3 Posted February 3, 2002 Ah well, considering the size of GC disks, they won't need as big a landfill this time round
King Atari #4 Posted February 3, 2002 I think they were making ET games for the GBA, PS1, and GC. There may be more, I'm not sure.
Ian Primus #5 Posted February 3, 2002 Hmm... I can just see it's main selling point now... "The New E.T.! Don't just fall into pits, fall into _three dimensionally rendered_ pits." Ian Primus [email protected]
jahfish #6 Posted February 4, 2002 will they have different landfills for the different systems?

Albert #10 Posted February 4, 2002 I just took a look at the Best Buy ad in our Sunday paper, but there is no mention of the GameCube at all. The only console that gets any mention is the PS2. I was going to scan the page and put it online. ..Al
MagMax667 #11 Posted February 4, 2002 I also saw E.T. for Gameboy Color in the store. From the back of the box, it seems a lot like the 2600 version with better graphics.

ATARIPITBULL #14 Posted February 4, 2002 You guy's are right, when I looked at the ad again, E.T. is going to be on Game boy advanced and not on the game cube. (Sorry).
