Mot #1 Posted May 2, 2005 I just won this: ebay:5200+trakball+masterplay This seems like a good deal to me (I need the trakbal + Kaboom) but how much is a Masterplay? is it only around $31.00? Thanks.
CPUWIZ #2 Posted May 2, 2005 They are both missing the external secondary fire button, otherwise they would have sold for more.
Mot #3 Posted May 2, 2005 Can I just wire up the second button myself? or are there different types of Masterplay interfaces ( one with 2 button and one without)?
CPUWIZ #4 Posted May 2, 2005 Can I just wire up the second button myself? Yes, it's a N/O circuit, just close it to make the fire button work. are there different types of Masterplay interfaces ( one with 2 button and one without)? 847712[/snapback] No, but there are however two different boxes for it. video game addict #5 Posted May 3, 2005 Even loose the Masterplay will fetch around $50+ on a good day. Actually just view the other threads about this referenced at the bottom of this thread. Here's one that sold in March. $50 to $75 range is probably about right for the lose without the aux switch. $31 was a good deal. Your $41 lot was a good deal as well. Mot #6 Posted May 3, 2005 I thought it was a very good deal because they didn't seem to know that the Masterplay interface was the thing to highlight in the auction. I'm going to ask if they have or can find the button and I will add $5 for it. Also, it was not just $41 it was $25 for s/h = $66. Oh well I will hook up my arcade joystick to it anyway. holygrailvideogames.com #7 Posted May 6, 2005 I finally scored a Masterplay with the extra fire button. I bet that I have had 20 Masterplays through the years. This one arrived boxed as well. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWN%3AIT&rd=

I have been looking for the 2nd fire button for years. I don't need the rest of the stuff so everything but the Masterplay is available.

video game addict #11 Posted May 8, 2005 LOL You guys are never gonna let up! Re-sellers be damned! I think if maybe for one month out of the year Sean would take all his auction winnings, then divvy out into resellable lots & auctions, and list for what he had in them, set all BINs to cost. (crazy concept I realize that) but it would be cool to see, people fighting to see Sean's listings! WOW CIB Masterplay for $39.95! Whoot!! It's those mixed lots that slip by so many people. Some things easily sell for double or triple if listed properly.

VTAtari #14 Posted May 24, 2005 Keep in mind, if you can solder, you can build your own. I built one in two nights, it would have been one if the had not gotten PNP and NPN transistors mixed together. I built it for cheap to. Finally let me play a full game of Star Raiders, as I have a trackball to serve as the keypad. Well worth it.

Check out my other auctions while you are at it. As stated before I am not selling the one. This is the last one that I have available for sale. John pointed you to the one auction that I won and I showed you the link to the other auction that I won. Do the math and you will see that I had 3 of these. These also happen to be the only three Masterplays that I have had with the extra fire button.
