shank #1 Posted May 3, 2005 What do you guy's think of Atari's Haunted House Game? I love playing it! This may sound silly, but, i think it's more scary than the horror games on PS2 and Xbox! The creatures seem to act so real! After all these years, it still gives me the shivers! Was there ever a sequel?

ATARIPITBULL #3 Posted May 3, 2005 That was very cool Nukey, I had been away so long, that I did not know about those hacks, I think I might order one my self.
Nukey Shay #4 Posted May 3, 2005 Tho technically they are not really a sequel...or even official, for that matter. However, Tony did a terrific job continuing the story of Old Man Graves and I had loads of fun lending a hand here and there in it's creation...so much so that I had to abandon Advent completely Be warned: this isn't a game that you'll skip through in just a few minutes! Lord Helmet #5 Posted May 3, 2005 Be warned: this isn't a game that you'll skip through in just a few minutes! 848348[/snapback] No kidding...I hinished HA Boo! in an evening, but HA II is another story...its tough, but still fun. I'm really glad I picked it up when it was released. First class hack, first class box / manuels etc
StanJr #6 Posted May 3, 2005 Those two hacks are the best "unofficial" sequels going. HHII for the 5200 was a meager effort compared to these babies. I highly recommend getting them both. I have the second one and its TOTALLY great. I need to go back and get the first one now...

Sent the money order over a month ago. How long did it take you guys to get your order? Getting a bit worried, actually.... The original HH is still great fun. Lvl 8-9 are hard and very fast paced. I love games like HH and adventure that you can play a complete game in 15 minutes, but still have a great time. There are no more games like that being made, really. It's a lost art. Imagine putting gameplay and fun above huge production budgets and graphics Edited May 3, 2005 by Lord Thag
Uber Troll #8 Posted May 3, 2005 All I have to say is that I've been playing Doom 3 for X-Box on a projector in my dark apartment. It can seriously interfere with one's sleeping habits...

How long did it take you guys to get your order? Getting a bit worried, actually....I've sent a PM to PackratVG to check the status of your money order. I'm not sure if he's finished his final exams or not... but you WILL get your order. Thanks for the compliments on the games. As I've said, Haunted Adventure is the result of the creative talents of many people who lent a helping hand to make this project a reality. Nukey, it was your 8kAdvent and Stephen Engelhardt's Create Your Own Adventure that inspired me to make this "new" series. Hmmm... series...
