YANDMAN #361 Posted May 12, 2013 This is great, im not bothered about the two player option, Lets just keep it as the arcade original and yes please publish this to cart and as somebody else mentioned above this goes out to all you talented programmers give us zaxxon and spy hunter and defender these would all be excellent titles to have in the collection and i would personally buy them all. I would also really love it if somebody did an XM revision of pole position 2, I love the game but with better graphics and arcade engine sounds it would be awesome Viva the 7800 such an awesome machine and community
Jaynz #362 Posted May 26, 2013 Thanks all. I think there will be a cartridge but I don't have any details yet. Well, obviously you should talk to Albert about that one. This game really belongs on the Atari Age store!

MAC-42 #364 Posted May 27, 2013 Schmutzpuppe, this really is most excellent. Great work. I agree with Jaynz, you should get in touch with Albert about getting this in the store. I'm looking for a first homebrew to buy, you know.
Compumater #365 Posted May 28, 2013 Looks great! Glad to see some progress after all these years. I can't wait to get it on a cart to add to the collection! Thanks.
KevinMos3 #366 Posted June 8, 2013 It's great to see this finished. I like the sprite changes that I've noticed and the collision detection seems much better. Very nice job all around. I do miss the "ribbit" when you first start the game though. Any chance you'll add that back in?

+Trebor #368 Posted June 9, 2013 Thank you for taking back up the coding gauntlet and finishing this. So want. My mind so insisted I read this instead: "Thank you for taking up coding Gauntlet..." Mind playing tricks on me...lol.
tep392 #369 Posted June 10, 2013 I just tried this out on a Ballblazer cart. Looks, sounds and plays great! Terrific job!
mimo #370 Posted June 11, 2013 I doubt it will be in the AA store as it needs a POKEY cart. Unless someone makes new cart pcbs that can utilize the last of the POKEY chips available from best/myatari. Of course a non pokey one could be released pretty easily but you would need the xm or x-board to make the most of the pokey effects
+Trebor #371 Posted June 11, 2013 Froggie V.E. is an option. Similar to Beef Drop V.E. in the store. If the XM/X- board is present, you hear POKEY. No XM/X-board it's all TIA.
gorfcadet #372 Posted June 11, 2013 Are you making a run of carts or will this be in the AA shop? Do want! I haven't had a good Frogger since C64.
Schmutzpuppe #373 Posted June 12, 2013 It's great to see this finished. I like the sprite changes that I've noticed and the collision detection seems much better. Very nice job all around. I do miss the "ribbit" when you first start the game though. Any chance you'll add that back in? I am glad you notice the collision detection improvment, it's really better now. Maybe the "ribbit" will come back in the cartridge version.
Schmutzpuppe #374 Posted June 12, 2013 I just tried this out on a Ballblazer cart. Looks, sounds and plays great! Terrific job! Thanks. Good to know that the sound autodetection works (at least with cartridge pokey).

It turned out that it works surprisingly well (at least much better than I expected).
