ATARIPITBULL #1 Posted May 4, 2005 I got this some time ago on Ebay, from a man who said he worked at the Atari corporation in Sunnyvale, when they gave all the employee's these jackets to help promote Pac-man, it says National Pac-Man*Day 1982 on the back. Spud #3 Posted May 4, 2005 Lucky! I would kill for a piece of Atari clothing. 848956[/snapback] I have a silver Atari jacket, I think these were fairly common back in the day, may have been offered in Atari Age, I found about 8 of them new in a warehouse find. Sold all but one, also found a Falcon 030 that had some prototype of a game on it, I can't rememebr for sure what it was now. Flintstones or B.C. Quest for tires or something tv related. I'll have to find that thread again and see now.
Lord Helmet #4 Posted May 4, 2005 I always thought the Pac-Man t-shirts that Atari produced when they released the 2600 game were pretty cool. I had a friend that had one and I was really jealous.
yuppicide #5 Posted May 4, 2005 It says National Pac-Man Day but has no date on it?! I guess everyday is a Pac-Man day then?!
+else #6 Posted May 5, 2005 I'm thinking same thing -- when IS National Pac-Man Day? Seems like a forgotten holiday, kind of like May Day is these days too. What has the world come to when we no longer celebrate these treasured symbols of our past???
