Activision Explorer's Club Patch

I earned my Pitfall Harry Activision Explorer's Club Patch as a kid and have since lost it. Occasionally I've looked on Ebay hoping to find one but my searches so far have been fruitless. Are they extremely rare in the marketplace or what? Figured this forum would be a good source of info since many of you seem to be serious collectors.

 

Any info at all on where I might find one of these? What should I expect to pay for one if I do find one for sale?

They pop up infrequently on ebay. And on these forums!

 

You just need to keep your eyes peeled.

 

I typically search for "activision patch*" on ebay. Save search & add email notifications

 

You could do "activision (pitfall, explorers) patch*" if you only have interest in that one.

 

By the way there are more than one of the Explorers' Club

This is a very late reply but just wanted to share my excitement. I reciently attended a Church White Elephant sale and was searching through household stuff and found two Video Game Patches in a metal tin with some kitchen stuff. I found an Activision Explorers' Club triangular patch and another one that is like a wing design and it's like a wing shape. Not sure their worth but to me they are just cool. I just had looked them up and found this post...

I just purchased about 15 patches, and 14 of them are complete with the original letter, even the envelope!

Just got them in the mail today, pretty cool!

Sadly, in two of the letters for the Decathalon Silver & Gold medals they substitued the Cross of Excellence, the letter states their supply was depleted. I guess the actual Silver or Gold medal patch would be pretty rare then!
