beamrider2600
Its not *incredably* over-priced, if you're in America don't forget that games are often quite a bit more expensive over here anyway. But still, if it wasn't painted and bough individually that stuff would be worth half that at the most, and you can paint your own if you really want - I don't see anyone wanting to buy a painted one. I heard of a Jaguar, Jaguar CD and 20-odd games sold on ebay a few weeks ago for about £200, that would've been much better.
SteveW
Did anyone notice that the unpainted ProController has a rotary wheel instead of a D-pad?
racerx
It really isn't that much. The last few BattleSpheres have all been over $400, the Scatbox probably brings $150, figure the Jag/CD gets $100 or so, the rotary controller $55, blah blah. The painted deal is probably hurting the sale, but it really isn't that high for the combo, epecially if you aren't getting raped by the weak U.S. dollar. Nick Harlow
Actually I think it's good value..... Battlesphere - £150.00 (last one in UK ebay sold for 250+) SCATBox - £ 90.00 ( last one in UK that I kow of sold £130) CD Rom Drive £ 75.00 (average s/h price in UK is £75.00) Controllers - £ 10.00 (ignore paint job, second hand prices) Rotary Contr - £ 40.00 Jaguar - £ 20.00 (ignore paint job) Tempest 2K £ 30.00 (at least, boxed) Total £415 and you get a distictive paint job thrown in...... all in all good value. Well done Jonathan I was gonna bid my self but I am on holiday soon so funds are low Nick

The auction is being relisted but not as a fixed auction. There is a reserve on it but it is less than what the fixed listing was.
racerx
I would've probably looked seriously at it if i hadn't just blown my wad on Tbird's BSG auction. Plus, we're leaving for vacation in Florida tomorrow. Timing's bad.
