Pac-Man 7800, a Ms. Pac-Man Hack....

Since there's no thread for it here in the 7800 section, I thought I'd post a link to the recent happenings in the "Hacks" forum:

 

Pac-Man 7800

 

PacManPlus has done an excellent job of hacking Ms. Pac-Man into Pac-man/New Puck-X. It's still a WIP, but it's pretty damn near perfect.

 

Just thought I'd give it a little props and show some appreciation.

I only wish I had the skills to hack or write code like this. I've messed around with some graphics hacks for VCS games, and contributed a little to MESS Development, but this is a whole different class.

 

I disassembled 7800 centipede using the latest distella, so that I can attempt a Trak-Ball compatible hack, but I don't even know where to look for the input code, or how to replace it. I wish there was more 7800 documentation.
