+RangerG #1 Posted May 14, 2005 (edited) I have a nice Atari Home Computers binder that I bought new old stock from an online vendor several years ago. However, I can't remember the vendor and I don't see these available other places. I would like a vintage binder or even a new reproduction type - something linked to classic gaming to store manuals and overlays. I know RetroGamer magazine sells one, but by the time I factor in the exchange rate and overseas shipping, it is expensive for one or two binders. This may be what I do, but any other ideas? Thanks! Here's the RetroGamer binder (I assume it is a standard 3-ring type?): http://www.livepublishing.co.uk/retro/page_635.shtml Edited May 14, 2005 by RangerG
Mayhem #2 Posted May 15, 2005 The RG binder is actually fixed struts that you slip the magazines under to secure. Not the best design imo, as once you've put them all in, they are incredibly hard to get out without damaging! Much preferred the old Future design with removable metal struts that fixed in the top and bottom.
+RangerG #3 Posted May 15, 2005 Mayhem - thanks for the clarification. Best Electronics was where I got the others (I had to look through the catalog a second time). They have old stock Atari Home Computers or Atari Field Manual ones. They are plain 3 ring binders, but sturdy. I'll check to see if they actually have them in stock. I always hate that... people who stored them by punching holes through. Best slip them in plastic covers and attach the covers through the rings instead.
